Why are you so cheap?
Because I am self employed and only have to cover my own overheads. I use the latest software tools to build you a standards compliant site based around a number of predefined layouts. This means that much of the technical work is done already and it is just a case of tweaking to provide you with something bespoke. I don’t spend many hours coming up with several different designs for you to choose from and then spend many more hours learning about your business to write content for you. You provide the information for the site and I do the technical stuff.
Why do I have to pay every year?
Because you are actually paying me for your hosting account. Whoever you buy your site from will charge you for your web hosting, the difference with me is that I will build a site for you on top of this for free.
Can I change my site later?
You can change anything about your site at any time. Once I have completed your site I charge by the hour so you will just get a bill which reflects the time I spend working on your site. There are some sites I have which are changing all the time while there are others which have not changed since they were built. How much is spent here depends entirely on you. You will approve the work before hand and I will only bill you for what we have already agreed. If we agree 1 hours work I will only bill you for 1 hour even if it actually takes me 10. On the other hand if we agree 10 hours and it only takes me 5 hours I will only bill you for 5 hours work.
I want a totally custom designed site, will you do this for me?
Yes but for custom designs a different set of charges apply. Call me to discuss this. As with all my charging structures, the prices I quote will be the maximum you will pay, unlike many other IT companies who seem to be able to make small bills into very large ones without you noticing!
Can I host my site with a different company?
No. My offering is based on you hosting your site with me. This is primarily what you are paying for and if you hosted your site with someone else I would be working for nothing.
Will you provide me with a list of sites you have done?
No. When you buy your site from using this framework you really are getting good value for money. Put another way this is a really cheap way of getting a site. You might not want people to know this. What you can see is various links to example site from this website. These are real sites which are working fro a particular purpose. All the logos, images and text have been provided by the relevant site owners.
